In Doctor Who Time Clash, the Doctor and the Daleks are locked in a desperate struggle for the fate of the universe itself. You’ll play cards representing plans, threats, tech, and quips to stacks that represent the time of the struggle, the Doctor’s companion, and the enemy’s influence. The two sides also compete to control the Doctor’s location, which activates or deactivates crucial powers. During the game’s build-up segment, each side tries to establish an advantage. When the balance tips and the endgame comes, they press for victory. Either one of the Doctor’s desperate gambits will succeed, or the Daleks’ pressing threats will crush him!

DOCTOR WHO Time LORD SciFi BBC TARDIS Time Travel K9 Dalek

History: Doctor Who is a British science fiction television programme produced by the BBC. The programme depicts the adventures of a time-travelling humanoid alien known as the Doctor who explores the universe in a sentient time machine space ship called the TARDIS that flies through time and space, whose exterior appears as a blue police box. Along with a succession of companions, he faces a variety of foes while working to save civilizations, help people, and right wrongs.

The program is listed in Guinness World Records as the longest-running science fiction television show in the world, and as the "most successful" science fiction series of all time, in terms of its overall broadcast ratings, DVD and book sales, iTunes traffic, and "downloads". It has been recognized for its imaginative stories, creative low-budget special effects during its original run, and pioneering use of electronic music (originally produced by the BBC Radiophonic Workshop). The show is a significant part of British popular culture in the United Kingdom, and elsewhere it has become a cult television favourite. The show has influenced generations of British television professionals, many of whom grew up watching the series.

The program originally ran from 1963 to 1989. After an unsuccessful attempt to revive regular production with a backdoor pilot in the form of a 1996 television film, the programme was relaunched in 2005, produced in-house by BBC Wales in Cardiff.

Doctor Who also spawned spin-offs in multiple media, including
Torchwood
The Sarah Jane Adventures
Class
K-9
K-9 and Company in 1981 a single pilot episode.

DALEKS: Debuting in the second ever Doctor Who serial way back in 1963, the Daleks have subsequently tried to exterminate every incarnation of the Doctor from 1 to 13 (with the exception of Paul McGann’s Eighth Doctor). It’s actually kind of amazing to think about the staying power the Daleks have had over the past 50 years. As over-used as they have been over the past half-century, there isn’t a single Whovian whose arm hair doesn’t stand up every time they hear that shrill “EXTERMINATE!” pretty much regardless of context. Personally, I still think the Cybermen are the best of all the Doctor Who villains, but it’s hard to argue objectively against maybe the most iconic villain in any TV science-fiction series ever made.

The character of the Doctor was initially shrouded in mystery. All that was known about him in the programme's early days was that he was an eccentric alien traveler of great intelligence who battled injustice while exploring time and space in an unreliable time machine, the "TARDIS", (an acronym for Time And Relative Dimension(s) In Space), which appears much larger on the inside than on the outside.

However, the initially irascible and slightly sinister Doctor quickly mellowed into a more compassionate figure. It was eventually revealed that he had been on the run from his own people, the Time Lords of the planet Gallifrey.

The Doctor has fully gone through this process and its resulting after-effects on ten occasions, with each of his incarnations having their own quirks and abilities but otherwise sharing the consciousness, memories, experience and basic personality of the previous incarnations.
