This unique ornament is handmade. The item in the photos is the exact one that you will receive.
Ornaments are made with the safety of aquatic life as a priority. Texture is added to the ornament to create additional surface area for cultivating beneficial bacteria to aid in the natural aquarium nitrate cycle. The base is made of aquarium-grade resin and the plant is plastic. The base-filler material (such as gravel or sand) is embedded into the ornament.
This aquarium ornament is solid and built to last. It is heavy enough to prevent most species of small aquarium fish rooting up the artificial plant and from knocking the ornament around the tank.
As with any new aquarium piece, wash this ornament with plain water to remove any packing residue before placing it into your fish tank. (Don't use soap or cleaning chemicals that could contaminate your tank!) Recommended only for freshwater aquariums. Handmade in the USA.
