You can replace your MAX485 module with the MAX487 Module, without chaning anything else.

Module size: 23 x 34 x 11 mm

With ESD Protection of the A / B Lines.

There is no RS-485termination resistor mounted. You need to add this termination resistor by yourself depending on your Device count, cabels etc. on your RS-485 Bus.
