We designed every single aspect of The Pocket Engineer to make it as functional and long-lasting as possible. You'll have a full drafting and measuring tool at your fingertips without digging out your 12 inch ruler. The laser-engraved unit conversions and engineering equations will save you time and keep you working on your craft instead of searching the internet or old textbooks for the exact numbers.
It's the perfect gift for an engineering student going off to college, an engineer's graduation, a passionate machine shop teacher or a professional engineer who loves sketching out new ideas at a moment's notice.
Packed with every-day essential reference info. Save time on homework with common temperature, pressure, power, mass and length unit conversions laser-engraved on the back. No more Googling or searching the textbook index.
Laser-etched high-contrast metric scale shows brightly in an image to set the pixel:length ratio so you can measure any distance in post-processing if your Pocket Engineer is in the frame. Perfect for failure analysis or field samples.
The back corner has a handy little pipe or drill hole inner diameter measurement gauge from 1/8th to 1 1/4" openings. Just insert the corner vertically and read the markings it lines up with.
Used by civil, mechanical, nuclear, and materials engineers on every job site imaginable. You'll always be ready for your next engineering challenge.
The founder designs each Pocket tool with meticulous dimensioning, line widths, and spacing in AutoCAD after consulting experts in each field. Our factory partner laser-cuts the shape from 0.5 mm stainless steel and coats it in hardened black enamel. Then, they laser-etch the text and ruler lines. We personally inspect and package each one before sending to Amazon's warehouse.
